Dr. Francis N. Okurut

Dr. Francis Nathan Okurut holds a PhD (Economics) from University of  Stellenbosch, South Africa; MA(Economics) and BA(Economics) from Makerere University Kampala. Dr. Okurut currently is a senior lecturer, Department of Economics, University of Botswana. Dr. Okurut has done a lot of research work and published in areas of poverty; microfinance; labour markets; financial markets (formal and informal) and pension schemes. Dr. Okurut has participated in collaborative research projects funded by the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) based in Nairobi, Kenya.
