George Adayi-Nwoza Adiah is a Principal Research Assistant in the Economics Division at I.S.S.E.R., University of Ghana, Legon. Mr. Adiah graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc (Hons)) in Mathematics and proceeded to the University of Ghana where he obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics in 2004. His research interests are in econometrics and social and cultural foundations of household consumption behaviour and patterns in Ghana. Some of researches undertaken include:

- Survey on micro and small enterprise in Ghana- A case of the Brong Ahafo Region on behalf of German Technical Corporation (GTZ) to better understand their problems and how they can be assisted

- “Public Spending in Ghana: An Assessment of National Level Data (1995 – 2005)”
- A survey to assess Barclays Bank micro banking programme in terms of knowing how susu collectors contribute towards respondents business and socio-economic developments.
