Dr. Asma Mobarek

Dr. Mobarek is a senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the University of Botswana. Before joining the University of Botswana, Dr. Mobarek was an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Dhaka. She did her PhD from the University of Leeds, UK.
She is teaching advance finance courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate level on the area of corporate Finance and capital market. Her teaching interest is on the area of Stock market, Financial Theory, Portfolio Management and Financial Analysis. She has produced a number of publications in refereed national and international journals.
Currently she is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Managerial System, Pakistan. Dr Mobarek has a few experience in acting as a consultant in the Banking Sector recruitment in Bangladesh as well as privatization of the banking Sector in Bangladesh.
