

Lisa-Marie Ouedraogo graduated in African Studies and Public Law at the University of Cologne. Furthermore she studied Philosophy. Lisa-Marie Ouedraogo is PhD student and currently working as a research assistant at the Department for Cooperative Studies at the University of Cologne. She has been working for the German Development Institute on Farmers Organisations and rural development in Westafrica and did field research in Mali, Burkina Faso and Botswana. Her main research interest is the integration of community based health insurance schemes into public social security arrangements focussing on Westafrica and particularly on Ghana and Burkina Faso. Lisa-Marie Ouedraogo is working as a consultant for the social security section of the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and is hence currently involved in the network of promotors of the westafrican network of mutual health organisation "La Concertation". She is an individual member of the microinsurance network.
